Aimé Leon Dore’s world takeover is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon as they’ve just unveiled their latest collaboration with none other than automobile giant Porsche.
Born from the mind of Aimé Leon Dore’s automobile fanatic owner Teddy Santis, this latest experiment sees the two forces join together to restore a 1978 Porsche 911 super Carrera to its original form. This isn’t the first time the two have collided, as Santis previously tapped on Porsche in early 2020 to restore a 964 Carrera.

The latest vehicle has been dubbed the “ALD 911SC” and has been accurately restored to period-correct form with the help of Porsche’s classic motoring department. The exterior of the vehicle is painted in a 70’s friendly olive green and comes equipped with 16″ Fuchs wheels, a custom Aimé Leon Dore super Carrera badge and a roof rack containing vintage items such as an aged Spalding basketball.

The interior of the vehicle simply oozes 70s vibes as it comes complete with beaded seat covers sat atop full-grain cowhide leather seats alongside Persian styled rugs that replace the conventional rubber automobile mats.

Unfortunately like its previous counterpart, this vehicle won’t be up for sale and instead will stand purely as a vessel for both style and expression. In other news, are NFTs really the future of sneakers?
